Talking Points is the Faculty and Staff blog for the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in Bellefontaine. The High School and Satellite Divisions serve juniors and seniors from 14 school districts and offer more than 30 career training programs. The Adult and Continuing Education Division provides a resource for adult learners to refresh or renew their skills and create a career or college pathway. The purpose of this blog is to give prospective students real access to the faculty and staff at Hi-Point. One Administrator easily manages this collaborative blog with 13 unique content contributors ranging from staff to the Super Superintendent of the school. InnoBlogs’ Freshness Reminders puts everyone on their own blog commitment schedule and handles all the reminding via emails to ensure content continues to flow into the blog.
Incept is an innovative marketing firm that focuses on the concept of conversational marketing to blood donation centers more effectively recruit blood donors. By the end of the first month Incept had accumulated 165 hits on their blog. This increased by 253% in the second month and another 261% four months later. Incept has over 150 blog posts live on the InnoBlogs Platform and has increased its number of content contributors three times. There are now 14 employees contributing strategic blog content in this successful collaborative blog.

Hi-Point Journeys opens the doors of the Ohio HiPoint Career Center classrooms & labs, allowing prospective students and parents to follow the journeys of student bloggers & interact with them on the blog through comments, on Facebook & more. InnoBlogs was purchased primarily for it’s amazing workflow capabilities. This student blog was run by a talented administrator at HiPoint, however, the effort of collecting the blogs, scrubbing them, posting them and following up with students was so cumbersome that it threatened the viability of the program. With InnoBlogs workflow, not only did the program survive but it was expanded to include even more student bloggers.
The Ohio Growth Summit hosts an annual conference to help small businesses grow and succeed. This blog lies dormant for a period of the year and then ramps up when the growth summit is approaching. The main purpose is the promotion of this annual event.
